Spirit Alive – Saturday January 13, 2018

SPIRIT ALIVE Envisioning the Church of the Future

Our next meeting of SPIRIT  ALIVE  will take place starting with coffee and refreshments at 10 am on Saturday January  13th  in the auditorium.

Ross Lawford, with help from Lucy Burke, will lead us in discerning new or additional ways in which the church can nurture spirituality both in our congregational community and within the larger community.

You are asked to come with ideas and observations of what other churches are doing but also prepared to brain storm (think outside the box) about what our ‘church’ might include going forward.  This will be an opportunity to make an important contribution to the work of the Congregational Development Process which hopes to make choices of which possibilities to pursue by the end of January.

On a regular basis Spirit Alive meets to explore matters of spirituality, meditate, and reflect together. Save the second Saturday morning of the month to meet at 10:00 to noon. Spirit Alive begins with coffee, snacks and fellowship followed by a period of led meditation, music, quiet time and reflection to deepen the sense of the spiritual at the center of one’s life. For more information contact Bea Lawford.
