Over the Summer
Over the summer, we will notice a few changes here at LUC. Last month, the council decided to close our church for three Sundays in the month of August. There will be no services on August 7, 14 and 21, while Rev. John is on holidays. Church services resume on August 28. As everyone has remarked, this is a first for Leaside United. The worship committee has taken great effort to stress that it is a trial run; we do not know what next year looks like and we want to experience this summer first before we make any decisions going forward. We will post a list of churches that are open in our neighbourhood. Note that most of our church neighbours share summer services and their buildings are closed for at least a month.
