Easter Day – Sunday, April 9, 2023

Our Easter Sunday music included Stephanie Martin’s Alleluia, Jesus is Alive by Cindy Berry (Junior Choir), and the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. Our hymns included Jesus Christ Is Risen Today and Christ is Alive, as well as Jesus is Risen! Radiant as the sun, a hymn text written for Easter last year. Scripture passages included Matthew 28:1-10 and Jeremiah 31:1-6, as we reflected on what Easter means for us this year. To view the service online, click on this LINK.

Fifth Sunday in Lent – March 26, 2023

On the Fifth Sunday in Lent Courtney Dakers was our guest flutist and we heard the beautiful prelude, O Mensch Bewein by JS Bach. We heard a little about the Gospel according to Thomas (Thomas 97:1-4), and pondered a new parable for the Kingdom of Heaven.
