Holy Humour Sunday & Communion – April 16, 2023

Today we celebrated Holy Humour Sunday, and we shared in communion together. The music included the anthem A Place in the Choir, and the hymns Give to Us Laughter and Joy to the World. Our communion was once again shared using Communion Cups, and allowed us to share in communion at the same time. Rev. Emily co-presided with one of our Voluntary Associate Ministers, Rev. Easter Day – Sunday, April 9, 2023

Our Easter Sunday music included Stephanie Martin’s Alleluia, Jesus is Alive by Cindy Berry (Junior Choir), and the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. Our hymns included Jesus Christ Is Risen Today and Christ is Alive, as well as Jesus is Risen! Radiant as the sun, a hymn text written for Easter last year. Scripture passages included Matthew 28:1-10 and Jeremiah 31:1-6, as we reflected on what Easter means for us this year. To view the service online, click on this LINK.
