On Transfiguration Sunday we reflect on mountaintop experiences in scripture and in our lives. Then ask: how do we hold onto these moments in the worry and grief that we face in our day-to-day lives?
Please join us in worship, this seventh Sunday after Epiphany. Our Hymns include “Whe Hands Reach Out Beyond Divides” and “Make Me a Channel of Your Peace”. Our choir anthem is “Ubi Caritas” by Duruflé.
Snow Sunday! Worship on Zoom February 16th
Well, we are expecting a storm this weekend, and the snow hasn’t all been cleared from the last one. It’s time to brush off our Zoom skills and worship together online.
This Sunday, February 16 we will have Zoom Church. We’ll open the room at 10am for time to gather and chat, and we’ll start the service at 10:30am.
Matt will be joining us from Montreal to lead our hymns (including “The Church is Wherever God’s People” – a surprisingly good choice for this week!), and Emily will lead prayers and reflection from her home. After the service we’ll hear from our council chair, Jim, then have a time of conversation (bring your own coffee or tea).
Please join us in worship, this fifth Sunday after Epiphany. Our Hymns include “Will You Come and See the Light” and “My Lord, What a Morning”. Our choir anthem is “If Ye Love Me” by Tallis
