Worship

Our Worship Services are held at 10:30 am on Sundays. Children join their parents for the first part of the service then go downstairs for Sunday School programming. The service is followed by a time of fellowship with coffee, tea, and punch hosted by members of the congregation.

The Sacrament of Baptism a rite of washing with water as a sign of religious purification and consecration is held on several regular occasions during the year including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. A Baptism preparation class is held during the week prior to the service.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at our 10:30am worship service monthly. In addition, we have special Communion Services on occasions such as Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve.

A Christian rite admitting a baptized person to full membership in a church. Confirmation sessions are planned for the youth of the congregation in preparation for confirmation.

Our Sanctuary is available for wedding rentals. An all-inclusive fee of $1,500.00 covers the use of the Sanctuary for rehearsal and wedding, the Minister, the Music Director, and the Wedding Coordinator. A $250.00 deposit is required to reserve the Sanctuary for your wedding, with $200.00 returned if you notify us of a change in plans at least ninety days in advance.

 

New member’s our current members of the United Church of Canada transferring from a differenct congregation can participate in a New Member’s Class orientation and statement of faith.

Our place of worship and our ministry staff team are available to you when it becomes time to celebrate the life of a loved one that has ended.
